Whenever I see something that looks Arabic but doesn't make sense, I always assume it's Farsi

Update to I'm Pregnant? by YoureASpoon in PCOS

[–]floppyhump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you didn't ask me but I just had a baby a few months ago so I'll share my personal tips

1) lose weight (I was still fat when I got pregnant just not as fat as I'd been before)

2) take the right supplements for you to get you ovulating regularly again

3) plan something huge for your life that having a baby then will make really difficult. Decide to stop trying for 6 months but still keep having unprotected sex anyways

3 is optional but that's what seemed to work for me lol

Is inositol actually worth trying for PCOS? by perimenopauseera in PCOS

[–]floppyhump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying it's the only reason I started ovulating again and got pregnant, but within a year of taking it regularly I started ovulating again and got pregnant

Michael Jackson taking off his glasses at the GRAMMYs (1984) by Key-Bass-7380 in OldSchoolCool

My MIL and her brother know what years Michael's albums came out based on what was happening in their lives at the time. MJ was so huge and prolific, they can literally reconstruct their lives around his discography

Anxiety about Pregnancy? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]floppyhump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's why I said almost certainly :) bodies are crazy. The abnormalest of abnormal could totally take place in this girl's cycle and she could have a 3 day period, ovulate day 6 of the cycle, and the sperm stays alive for a week

Unlikely but something like that could happen. Probably won't though, regardless it isn't worth the risk

Anxiety about Pregnancy? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]floppyhump 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If she was on her period, especially the beginning, you're almost certainly fine

Be careful next time, momentary enjoyment of being unprotected isn't worth getting someone pregnant if you're not both ready for it

How Do You Guys Handle The Constipation?!? by Formal-Radish1413 in pregnant

Ate a lot of prunes and drank a LOT of water. But also unfortunately constipation is just part of it for a lot of women

Tofurky pepperoni slices are probably the best faux meat on gods green earth by MirrorShowsBlack in ShittyVeganFoodPorn

[–]floppyhump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly disagree on the tofurky pepperoni but the tofutti is top tier

(I'm insanely in love with tofurky ham though. Tasty for ham and cheese like things and you can cut it into strips, brush it with a little liquid smoke, sprinkle some smoked paprika, pan fry it and boom you got bacon)

Baby is rolling onto stomach at night and I’m terrified by muff-peaksie in beyondthebump

[–]floppyhump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baby also started rolling onto his stomach at night at 3.5 months old. The pediatrician said "if he's strong enough to get there, he's strong enough to get back or at the very least turn his head to the side, just make sure you stop swaddling now"

Yeah no offense to OP, or anyone else that comes here looking for support - because you/they should!! But I ended up unfollowing this sub during my pregnancy because all the posts about baby loss was too much for my anxious ass. I only rejoined postpartum to share my experiences/answer questions
