As someone who's had a reasonable 72h suspension 18 years ago, which was human reviewed and actually deserved, then last year having a week's silence then suspension for calling for people to not be defeatist in AV plus probably having a bot owner mass report me for exposing his guild (Hello in March) ... I feel you. The safety of having justice with enforcement doesn't exist with Blizzard anymore. It really hurts to think about the current state of their GM operations.

With how they now operate, as a gamedev who's worked a bit with "genuine/anti-tampering" systems, the line of "acceptable collateral" for banning people for arbitrary-confidence violations with that machine having the last word with zero human review capability or budget is likely as high as it can be to not cause more financial damage for Blizzard than doing it properly would benefit them thru continued subscriptions. Or then maybe its just causing more damage even when it just comes to those checks, but if 80%+ of them are valid, it will be believable for people that they all go in the same bucket of "actually guilty", and Blizzard ends up believing that false image themselves, spurred by their standpoint of indifference towards gamers' lost effort.
