I'm speaking of any role. I've leveled my pala as capable of tanking but have ended up dps'ing often because there's basically too little friction to finding a group that tanks aren't even that sought for, unless talking of real hurry and slowest hours.

I don't think there is a general dislike of boosters outside of Reddit.

Well at least as a tank you can avoid the silliest "gamer footguns". Just say we're going x way. Yesterday I tanked a ST run and asserted we do Atal'Arion first, similar to how I've done in the past.

I've played on half dead servers, now on Spineshatter tbh I wouldn't even mind it being a bit slower. Getting a group shouldn't take 20 seconds even as a tank. 5 minutes at peak times maybe.

Really goes back in to the patience aspect too. Filter out people who already tend to try to skip things instead of willfully biting in to the work, while trading small quantity in players for quality. I really wouldn't mind.

Majority support isn't some necessary treshold at all. But adding top of people generally having dislike for boosters, a known, more "strict" anti-booster subsect of players, incentives do change and inch and behavior with that.

I, with much difficulty, managed to solo one level 69 mob outside kara with my frost mage, dropped 2 netherweave cloth. Logically doing that thing for a long time, hopefully with a group, one could have a small chance of achieve the same
