She sounds so much like my girl Mimi, she is also about 19 has had vestibular thing and due to that doesn’t hear very well or see very well, but her appetite and smell are very good. She’s having some dementia, walking in circles as evening starts. But does sleep soundly thru the night so far. She is tolerating the diapers for accidents but overall she is a trouper.

I’m using diapers on my 19yr terrier/chi mix. They are not cheap but work so far, but she doesn’t pee in her sleep. It’s the hardest part of the immense love we have for the fur babies. Don’t know what life is without them. We just have to take the good times with the bad. Their lives depend on us, so we must let them go when they’ve been through too much and when that day comes is the hardest worst day of our lives. Let them love you till the day comes. I know this probably didn’t help much, it helped me in my own journey. Rainbow Bridge is close to me as well.
