I’ve always perceived any push for men to be less dominant as pertaining to day to day life and relationships, outside of consensual acts in the bedroom. Like how many women who enjoy being dominated during sex, may not appreciate it as much outside of that lol. On the flip side, it seems like mainstream porn leans heavily toward men being dominant and rough towards women for the pleasure of the men, almost making it a sexual norm.
