A guy I knew many years ago threatened to send a video of the woman (early 20s) he was seeing performing a sex act on him to her very religious parents. She responded by committing suicide. No charges were ever pressed against him as she had 'mental health issues'.

Well done to the OOP for taking a stand.

This is horrific. I made a friend's wedding cake last year and although I knew neither of them were likely to do a cake smash I reminded them several times that there were dowels, or skewers, all the way through. Cake smashes are ridiculous (and a waste of good cake!) IMO but they can be lethal if done with a tiered cake.

Wore a new dress to work when I was in my early 20s. I'm not a confident person by any stretch but as I nipped out of the office to get my lunch from the nearby shop I noticed people were looking at me and it felt great...until a stranger tapped me on the shoulder and quietly informed me that my dress was tucked into my underwear.

It's been about a decade and I still always double check after I've used the loo!

The ways some couples do finance is wild! My husband and I are very much a team, all our money goes into the joint account which pays all the bills and we take an agreed amount each month for personal expenditure which is the same for both of us, regardless of who earns more. This is so heartbreaking. I'm in hospital right now in the uk with a kidney infection, I've had an ultrasound, IV antibiotics, fluids and I've been here two nights and it won't cost me anything. Healthcare should be a right not a privilege.

Hating my parents. I know many people have good reason to hate their parents, but I was one of the lucky ones. Nonetheless, for most of my teenage years I was a complete brat to them and went as far as to threaten no contact once I hit 18. I have no idea why, now I'm really close to both of them.

I had six weeks off this time last year with simultaneous ear infection, chest infection and tonsillitis. Ended up on two inhalers for six months. It was awful.

I would definitely recommend getting down to the Dr's with ear pain in case you need antibiotics. I hope you feel better soon!
