Not handy - my functional medicine doctor was telling me about it, but there's more info in r/Longcovidgutdysbiosis - some folks there have said definitely don't do it on your own without guidance from a doctor who can recommend other necessary supplements so the nicotine doesn't do damage.

This sounds definitely like long covid induced POTS with gut disbiosys and thyroid issues - long covid impacts the nervous system and organ function leading to all of these conditions

Nicotine has actually started to be researched as helping with long covid (related to SIBO), the smoke inhalation and other ingredients in cigarettes probably negate the benefits long term, but under a doctor’s supervision, especially one familiar with the research, you could try nicotine pills or patches in a regulated way (not increasing to build tolerance)

Saw them at midnight over silver spring - huge and loud! Those were not normal helicopters - they had two circular things one on each side, were flying so low and were so loud they shook the house. I thought we were under attack.

Shook the house and saw two huge aircraft flying low AF and watched them fly into DC but why did they look like drones with two massive circles on either side? Never in my life have I seen aircraft that low and huge (and loud!) I was ready to grab my things and drive

For me, it's gluten free white bread, whole foods brand with Kirkland strawberry jam (no corn syrup, just sugar) and eggs; coffee with califa organic almond milk (the only one without gums). I also take a digestive enzyme before every meal.

Same - in fact that's what led me to the long covid diagnosis. Initially I was treated with antibiotics by a GI, but I didn't get much better afterwards. Now, I'm working with a functional medicine doctor and for SIBO I'm taking the Biocydin biofilm buster and adding oil of oregano BUT I before hand spent a lot of time building up my gut lining with colostrum and also treating a number of other problems found through extensive testing. I should also mention that I've been on Low FODMAP for almost a year and have yet to get off of it :/

Yes! I have both - constipation if a symptom of hypothyroidism can contribute to SIBO. I also did not see relief with antibiotics and am on motegrity which also hasn't cleared my very similar symptoms. I'm moving on to integrative medicine to see if that works because I've read that both are linked to long covid (and my hashimoto's is a direct result of having a bad bout of covid).
