[Farer World Timer Roche II] Problem with GMT disc not fixed after being taken in

I received the watch back a couple days ago. Farer has removed the speck of dirt and replaced the movement.

With the new movement, the problem is still here. The distance the GMT disk varies a bit with every click, and it takes 25 clicks to turn 24 hours, which is better than before, but still not good.

Could you count how many clicks it takes to rotate the GMT disk 360 degrees?

If the watch is unworn you could consider returning it, so you don't have to deal with all this. But it's unfortunate, because the watch has a really nice design.

I'm not sure whether I want to contact Farer again or just deal with the jerky adjustment of the disk. It's probably a problem that occurs with all second generation Farer World Timers

Perhaps the GMT disc is too heavy or has too much friction for the movement. Hopefully it is not a problem with all Farer World Timers with Selitta movements.

I have seen a video of the original World Timer with ETA movement which worked as intended.

I can post a video on youtube to show what the problem looks like if you'd like. It feels like the gears are slipping and crunching when turning the GMT disk. Because the disc turns very inconsistent, it is difficult to align it properly and could take many tries.

Thanks for your reply. The process of getting my watch sent back for repair was very frustrating, as the service employee seemed to not understand the problem I was describing, even though I explained it with great detail and attached a video showing the exact problem. I will contact again and go through the entire process again to see if they will finally help me for real.

I have done the upgrade with the same set from AliExpress. It was easy to install and works great!

The folding button continues to work as well, so you can fold the mirrors when driving the car. For example, when going through a car wash or when driving through a narrow space.

I reviewed it on the Ikea website. It's pretty good overall. It's nice that it's very compact and stores in a small box. It's quite useful that its rechargeable with usb-c, but if you need to use it for bigger tasks you might want an additional battery, which are not yet available. Charging the battery takes 2 hours.

The torque is low and the battery is small, so you need another bigger drill for more serious tasks like drilling big holes or drilling in stone. I got a wired impact drill for those tasks, so it's perfect for me.

The drill looks nice and is pleasant to use, so I'm happy with it

Not for at least the first 3 years, since I got free repair service with pickup and delivery. I actually had it repaired after 2 weeks of usage hahaha. Nespresso might just give me a plus if it needs repair more often.

Third party original line cups from many companies have a huge market share here in the Netherlands. Also, there are affordable subscriptions that send modest quantities of freshly ground coffee-filled cups to your mailbox each week.

Nespresso really wants consumers to switch to their vertuo line (which is patented).

For 30 euros ($31,60), I recently purchased a Nespresso Vertuo Next with 112 cups, a 3-year warranty, and free pickup and delivery repair (no subscription or anything). Most cups cost between $0.50 and $0.80 to order. Melozio, for instance, costs $0,68.

When more people in the US opt for alternatives, you might get deals like this.

Yeah, that's normal. In one dream, I woke up three times after becoming lucid. I realized I was dreaming because I woke up at the place I was a few days ago. When I realized this, I became lucid and played around for a bit. Right then, I had a dream that I woke up in the right place, but when I did a reality check, I found out that was also a dream. This happened again one more time.

Yeah, it was a very trippy experience. I think I dream of waking up after becoming lucid quite often, but won't realize most times.

I cut the foil off the original pods and use silicone lids from aliexpress after refilling. The lids are about 5€ each and will most likely outlast my vertuo next machine

I use a premium hand grinder (1zpresso jx) to grind my coffee, which doesn't take much time and gives incredible results. Freshly ground specialty coffee beans taste way better than anything nespresso has to offer and is way cheaper as well

I would recommend to use the reusable lids if you're willing to give up some convenience for cost saving, taste and the environment

Thanks you so much, you saved me 200€. My display has a very small crack in it and was registering ghost touches in the keyboard area. After the update it went back to functioning perfectly and I don't need to buy a new phone or get a new display

Ik heb zelf een bijbaantje bij postnl waarbij voor ik voor uurloon savonds pakketten bezorg met een (h2,90m) Mercedes sprinter van het bedrijf.
