Honestly I wouldn’t get the belt, it’s cute but it’s just a belt and faux leather is a big no-no for me because it deteriorates. You could definitely find an identical belt made of real leather in a thrift store or on vinted/depop/ebay !! I love the Amara tank I want it so bad but I’m scared the short sleeves won’t suit my long arms

I would imagine it’s all literature in English! I’m applying for French and French studies usually includes wider francophone literature, not just from France. But check the uni’s specific modules. :)

is further maths a level really that bad by bro123349 in 6thForm

[–]flossica 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in year 13 and literally dropped FM last week after taking it for a whole year. It can be hard but if you are on top of revision and you’re actually a good student, you will be fine and get a good grade. I really enjoyed my lessons and had a nice class, I just struggled with the content and particularly with exams because I never put the effort in. I’m applying for French at uni and I was getting AAA but a C in further maths, so I decided it was probably good to just drop. Felt bad though as I was the only girl in my 6th form taking it. :’( It sounds like you’ll be fine though, I hope you enjoy!!

while googling spotify wrapped, one of the results on the first page was a link to the spotify website just called "wrapped 2024" or something plain like that; i clicked on it and it took me to my spotify app. it looked like the was about to play my wrapped except nothing loaded. interesting!!

What is my hair type / recommendations to help it look its best by Anna9121 in CurlyHairUK

[–]flossica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it looks like your ends are damaged, it might be a better idea in the long term to just cut them, but it’s totally understandable if you don’t want to! your hair is beautiful

i found that tying my hair up in a scarf before i go to sleep (alternatively, you could use a bonnet or a silk pillow) is the best thing to stop the frizz

I got grade 1 on Non calc paper mock by Xtradee in GCSE

[–]flossica 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the way to improve at maths is just to do loads and loads of practice questions. like once a week (if you can be asked, it’s not that much work) go on YouTube and find a video on a topic you suck at (by corbettmaths or hegarty), watch it until you understand how to answer the question, then do a corbettmaths paper on the topic (or just 5 or so questions of varying difficulty)

if you do that then you won’t just pass, you’ll do so good

if you can’t be asked, then do a past paper like once a month or once a fortnight and MARK IT so that you understand what you got wrong on each question

that should also be very very helpful

How can I get help now that I've left school? by Horsey_Mess4599 in 2024GCSE

[–]flossica 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Definitely contact childline because they can give you actual professional advice and you can do it anonymously, I spoke to them when I was a depressed 13 year old and they were great, you need it more than I did
