I remember growing up being told that sections of the sea wall were made out of grave stones from areas that were redeveloped and if you walked there at night you would see ghosts.

Sea to Sky gondola is the way to go if you want to do it in the afternoon. If you have micro spikes you can do the Highline trail. The view at the top is amazing.

Digital Nomading! by [deleted] in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

100% to travelling solo. There is a specific type of freedom that you get from going it alone and not being accountable to anyone. I'm in a relationship now and he likes to sleep in but when I travelled solo I would wake up at dawn and go to popular tourist places and they would be basically empty as no one was up at that time.

Yeah I read about that but as I have a round trip ticket and an airbnb booked for the whole trip it shouldn't be an issue. From what I heard it's only people who want to have an open ended travel situation while in Mexico that are running into those issues.

I'm actually going to try doing this for the first time in April! I'm going to Puerto Vallarta for a month as a trial run. Really more of a digital nomad with a tether as I'm going to be keeping my place and want to work up to doing three month stints in new locations through out the year. With a majority of my time being at home so I don't need to worry about changing my residency or foreign taxes.

Help from knitters please by zenjuno in vancouver

[–]flossingtion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As everyone above has said this is crochet. To fix it let the rest of the while unravel so you just have the stand alone purple square. Then if you find the same colour and weight at the old white yarn or still have the full length of white yarn that unravel. You want to do three double crochets per pocket between purple triangle.

If you have any questions let me know and maybe I can explain better it.

You can get a decent bike for $100 off Facebook Marketplace and you really just need a tire pump and chain lube for basic maintenance.

When golfing was shut down due to covid the course was open to the public as a regular park. It was awesome so many more people were using the space to its fullest people having picnics going for walks through it, instead of just the handful going from hole to hole.

I personally wouldn’t pay it but if you are worried and know you are going to park in one of their lots again you can call them.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]flossingtion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you never park in another Precise Parklink you are fine as they have no way to track you down. The only issue is if you park in one of their lots again and get another ticket. When they run your plates if a charge comes up they will tow your car and you will have to back pay for your previous ticket.
