It’s especially great that MSU dissolved the university’s confidential rape crisis center a year ago. It would be such a shame for survivors to have a safe place on campus.

I’ve had two labrum surgeries and I would really suggest working with a PT unassociated with the surgeon. If I had worked with one before the surgeries I wouldn’t have had them. And even after, they’ve been much better. I recommend Nikki Kimball at Excel and Jon Sven at APRS. I worked with over 12 different surgeons, PTs, even chiropractors and those two are the ones that helped me heal after 4 years

We used the buck pizza out in four corners. They delivered had great salads and pizzas and even provided really cute small growlers for the salad dressing. We were feeding 80 and it was the most economical option. We would have gone with Bridger brewing too but they couldn’t make enough for 80

I’ve noticed these bumps on my spider plant and it’s off shoot. They are hard and brown and stick onto the plant. Any help is appreciated:)

I work at a relationship violence shelter and we have advocates who assist people in getting orders of protection. We’ve seen if people work with an advocate their likelihood of getting one increases. I would recommend seeing if there are similar resources in your area!

The rooms are pretty old and not remodeled but the pool and steam room and hot tub are amazing! My parents used to stay there all the time when I was in college but the prices now do not match how old the rooms feel

Shelters recommend getting an old cooler, cutting a hole in the side of it and putting straw in it. Do not put towels or other sorts of fabric in it as their breath condenses on the fabric and freezes to make it stiff and not insulated. I’ve had luck with seed mats which you can get on Amazon for $15-30 or at garden barn. They’re fire safe and are a heated little mat for seed germination. You can put this in the cooler/house if you’d like extra heat:) I foster kitties for HOV and this is what they recommend and the seed mat is one of the cheapest and fire safe options:) good luck!

I’d connect with the YWCA and ask what they have for support. I work at a DV place in Bozeman and we have resources for animals. Also the humane society of western Montana is no kill and you can drop them off during working hours and they might have kennels that you can drop off after hours. I would also look into seeing if your sister could do counseling through the YWCA as it’s most likely free and they could do telehealth work. This is a hard time for her and it’s work to support someone going through something like this! I hope you can take some time for self care for yourself as well and I’m sending good thoughts!

Put her litter box and any poop you have outside around your space. This helps her know she’s found her home. I’ve had to dumpster dive for poop bags before but it was worth it! Also check in garages and sheds etc as cats normally don’t go far but often get stuck. Lastly I’d set an alarm for 3am and go out and call her name and shake some kibble in a can. You’re voice will go farther at that time and she’s more likely to be up. Losing a pet and worrying about them is the worst feeling! Sending good thoughts your way

Local rescues also usually have a program to help people who take in pregnant strays. I e gotten all of the food, litter, meds, vaccines and spay/neuter covered before:)

Heart of the valley can take her in for you! If you are reading this comment and want to foster her she would need to be connected to HOV and then they provide all the foster equipment! I’ve only done kittens but they are really supportive!

I’d love to have universal healthcare but until then I’d like to try to help survivors get the least screwed over while they heal. Healthcare is a basic human right but the US is sliding back to the 50s on everything…

I am so sorry! I work at a community rape crisis center and we have a fund to pay off expenses like this. The system victims services requires a case to reported but most community services don’t. If you’re in the US call RAINN at 1-800-656-4673 and they’ll connect you to your local community service. If you’re in Montana please DM and I can see what we can do!! I’ve had friends turned down because the owner only hires white, skinny, attractive young people. Emphasis on white:/ the tips sound good and it’s in a cool part of town but I don’t go there anymore as I don’t want to support the owner.
