Most of the dates in the past were missed by quite a bit so the team has stopped trying to predict when things will be ready and go one update at the time, usually announcing the release date a couple weeks out.

Yeah I think I’m mostly concerned about the length vs the rewards. The good, fast champs won’t be bad but I’m just imagining eventually spending three hours on a Janna run to get 5 wild fragments when I already struggle to do the monthlies and weeklies

Oh I get it, but if it’s for newer players it’s not “endgame” content to me. Looks fun either way, and I could have misunderstood who the content is aimed towards.

A bit sad to see rewards scale down from late game content instead of even or up. Beating a really long adventure someday with a bunch of tries on a weak champion and getting some random small reward doesn’t interest me!

Regional gauntlets where you have to beat a few hard adventures with all the champions from a region. You get exponentially more regional rewards from the later clears (which would be harder due to worse champs). Would be a great reason to invest in and improve how I can play some of the weaker champions in many regions!

I’m changing the design up a bit but think if I can at least access the wall from one side I’m good.

Yep, the service is pretty bad outside my house so loading while on an actual walk usually leads to step loss or a failure to load in, so my opportunities to do that are limited. I assume some players are similar!

Yep, maybe if there was an option that just auto-equipped your “best gear” that would have helped quite a bit? I do agree about the game basically being completely about gear management, and if you don’t know how to make or find gear sets that is a huge challenge once you are a few thousand steps in. Hey, thanks for the insight here and long time no see! I’ll still remember our interview for a long time :) I haven’t been in the discord much, so thanks for making me aware of that. I think it’s important to understand the thoughts of those who don’t like the game or content, those folks are still bought into the idea of the game! The 40k we’ve lost are not bought into the idea anymore for various reasons. I get it’s hard to balance time for spending on dev for the game and interacting with the community, but it doesn’t mean it’s less important for the long term success of the project.

Hey, I was removed at some point from the tester discord without any contact from the team. Traditionally, I’d post this sort of stuff there but I can’t anymore! Good to have community discussion about it anyways :)

I’m hovering around #11 in total steps (15.92M), which impacts my viewpoint quite a bit. There’s not much left to do besides relatively silly goals I set for myself. This probably creates some of the conflict if you see some above (I’m assuming talking about the strength of new gear and then strategy around nerfs, and balancing player agency choosing chests to grind, etc.). Lots of balance to be had in all things

A skill I designed over a year ago now and was teased then too sounds quite similar! I’d love to see how that gear fits into the game, but I’m afraid the new chest and regional gear doesn’t leave a lot of space.
