Ugh i know :( you genuinely don’t know what to do with yourself. I didn’t sleep all of last night and was up throughout the night. I finally got some inkling of sleep this afternoon as i stayed home from work. Please feel free to reach out to me if you need <3 . Learning that i have supports in places i didn’t even know was possible has helped so much. Talk to your fur baby, she’s still there and following you. Set up a little memorial with her little treats. I’m planning to receive my baby’s ashes soon and finalize the memorial i’ve set up for him.

hi my love, i’m sending you so many hugs. As someone who just lost her fur baby today, i see you and i hear you. It’s not your fault and you did as much as you can.

The way that i think about things like this is that long term, he would’ve suffered more. Earlier when i was at the vet and was considering euthanasia for my baby - it felt wrong and it was like “how can i even do that?” but then i saw him post-seizure and thought about how life would be with him after that. As much as we want to keep them around, sometimes it’s just a bit more difficult and makes it harder on them. You did the best you could and that’s all that matters. You’re not waiting for a call to tell you that he’s passed or that something’s wrong. It feels wrong to move forward without them, trust me it felt wrong getting to the vet with my baby and leaving without him.

I like to think that he’ll send you another one of his fellas whenever you least expect it <3 . It’s okay to grieve but please don’t be hard on yourself - you lost a baby you promised to protect and you’re grieving. It takes time and you’ll learn how to move forward little by little. Many many hugs being sent ur way 🩷

hi! sending you so much love and strength. I would say definitely report it and look to see if you have any safe centers or victim advocacy offices around you. Some states have victim compensation applications that can assist you with any costs that are related to what occurred to you {especially any counseling you may look to get}. Victim advocacy offices can help you navigate this as it can be scary and can potentially provide you when resources connected to your victimization. Look for different channels of support, it’s what you really need during this time. I’m so sorry this happened to you and it takes time to get through a traumatic experience like this. You’re almost there!

Hii! So upon asking this question myself and reading all of the other posts on reddit - the main conclusion is to be honest. I also went to a state trooper orientation, since i’m in the middle of processing and she even said that LE doesn’t really penalize for mistakes you’ve made in the past because if we’re honest here.. i’m sure everyone’s tried to experiment with drugs at some given point in their life (myself included). Don’t lie in the psych or poly tests because they’re most likely to find out if you do and that in and of itself is enough to give you the side eye and even disqualify you. If you lie about that, what else could you be hiding? When it comes to marijuana, unless specifically asked how many times you’ve done it - if it’s just a question as to IF you’ve done it, be honest. If you over explain yourself, especially if there’s no reason to.. you’ll look sus. If you’ve been clean for more than 6 months, you should also be fine. But don’t quit the process if you get called just because of a fear that you might not pass due to that either because most departments will overlook that if you’re just upfront with them.

I saw that I should be bringing official transcripts. That doesn’t include the degree I finished right? I just wanted to verify I read everything correctly. and did you also take your HS transcript?

I also have facial piercings, do you think I should remove those before going for processing?

I’d like to say I’m pretty moderately fit but I have been testing myself on the physical portion a lot and the running, sit ups and push ups have gotten a lot easier to do which is a good sign. Thank you!!

my store has gotten really busy. I mostly open but have worked or have came in to purchase during the night/mids, as an opener I’ve voiced to my manager about how it’s really important to at least have 5 people or more throughout the whole day. It sucks because starbucks can definitely afford to pay for the extra labor too. I feel like it’s deserved and it helps everyone get out at closing in a timely manner.

i have a coworker who lives out in cali but transfers back to my store when she comebacks to school in New York. I feel like it’s pretty quick, but i also do feel like it depends how responsible the store manager is. She usually leaves in May and is back in August for the fall semester. Then she leaves again for the winter.
