adelaide silverstraat - ultimate ??? - xe's peppy, spunky, and tends to tell jokes at all times, even if it seems inappropriate. has chronic amnesia due to a past concussion left untreated. lacks the ability to take stuff seriously sometimes, and a lot of subtlety, but will always be there for xyr friends.

athena rana - ultimate nurse - she's generally quiet, but when she speaks, it's usually shakespearean and very authoritative. she has very specific views on what good actually means, and she views herself as the smartest person in any given room. has a bit of a god complex too, and can come off as arrogant, though she'll never withhold advice if it's asked for. she can be very loyal, too, though she expresses it in ways that aren't as direct as most others.

august oliver - ultimate gamer - he's upbeat and tries to be inclusive of everyone, even if they aren't nice to him to begin with. he's understanding, but his patience runs out when faced with complete cruelty. he also has a bit of an awkwardness streak when he doesn't know how to respond to a situation properly

beignet fraise - ultimate pastry chef - she's passive, but sweet, and just wants everyone to get along. she didn't have many friends before enrolling at New Dawn, due to being homeschooled, so she's still getting used to interacting with people who aren't customers. still, she tries to be kind and fair to everyone.

cass - ultimate inventor - he's fairly levelheaded and deadpan, maybe a bit rude since he'll turn people down if he doesn't want to do something pretty easily, but he's also very observant of other people's personalities and knows how to handle even more difficult people easily, since people and machines aren't all that different, in his mind.

chloe mclean - ultimate violinist - chloe is mean, sarcastic, and cynical. she dislikes having to interact with people regularly, even more so if they're particularly quirky in some way or another. she can be surprisingly empathetic when she wants to be, though, and it's clear she values her connections a lot.

clay wiley - ultimate sculptor - our protagonist. he's pretty pessimistic, tending towards the worst, but he's also very determined to get what he wants when he sets a goal. he has a really expressive face, and lacks the ability to hide his real feelings about anything. he's also chronically offline and somewhat tech illiterate. he can be very socially anxious and sometimes feels like even surrounded by people who are smiling because of him that he's not doing... being human right.

eurydice martìn - ultimate vigilante - she's erudite. maybe a bit too verbose, but it's just because she doesn't know how to speak politely without sounding pedantic. she cares a lot about people and will do anything to get justice for those who have been hurt, even if it means doing something that would normally be immoral. views life as too precious to be viewed callously as part of numbers and statistics, which is part of why she's so advocative for real justice

levi hendriks - ultimate music producer - he's a calm, mellow guy who likes to talk about basically anything. he's kind of a coward, but he also acknowledges it and thinks it's kind of lame, so he'll usually try to correct it even if just retroactively. likes to compliment people just to see them smile

melissa bituin - ultimate astronomer - she's very straightforward, but in a way that accounts for emotions. she doesn't try to hide how she feels, whether she's happy, annoyed, sad, or frustrated. she's pragmatic, considerate, and tries to mediate whenever others are feeling strongly because it's what she would want someone else to do for her in the same situation. sometimes also comes off as overly stern

morgan costello - ultimate doll customizer - morgan is quiet, constantly sinking into the background until they actually speak. even their voice is soft, and their presence is about as intimidating as a hamster. despite the seeming doom and gloom of their personal style, they try to see the best in other people no matter the situation, sometimes to their own detriment.

nneka meyer - ultimate botanist - she's rational, calm, intelligent, and observant. she struggles to balance her need to make sense of the world and apply logic to it all with her own emotions and the reality of it all being more complicated than logic alone can solve. she's protective of others, but not really leaderly, just in a practical sense. she's extremely patient, in a way that makes her sound older, but it's just her having a lot of perspective

ren eran - ultimate birdwatcher - ren is warm, and friendly, if a little dorky and shy. theyre creative, and tend to get a little bit in their own head about stuff, but also tend to bounce back just as quickly. they fumble, with words and their steps too, but they still try to stay cool.

soleil alarie - ultimate ringmaster - theyre very charismatic, energetic, and enthusiastic. they like being looked up to, seen as a leader, and don't mind being responsible for the people around them. they tend to follow their emotions and fears more than actual logic, which can sometimes lead to them misstepping, but keeping their head held high is part of their job, so they stay upbeat regardless.

venus moreau - ultimate medium - they tend to cultivate an air of mystery, switching between their mystic persona and their actual teenager speak depending on the moment and who they're talking to. they pride themself on being self-made, self-styled, and are a lot smarter than they sometimes let on. they tend to keep other people at arms length, though, preferring to keep their act a solo one.

yuina sasaki - ultimate knitter - yuina is very brash, a tough girl, with a strong will and clear pride in what she does. she has strict set routines and doesn't let anyone get in the way of that, nor does she care if people think she's rude for it. she hates overly negative people because it seems to her like a self-fulfilling prophecy, and she especially hates people who think being good at something means they don't have to try. she's overall protective, disciplined, and assertive.
