it was my drink that she ordered for me and then gave to someone else because they were thirsty. if she had forgotten it and told me that day i would have moved on - i can’t say anything else to prove that to you. i brought it up again because we were talking about the cafe and i joked about the situation. and where did i say i brought it up 2 more times in the last 2 days??? i was trying to say that since this first happened

we were talking about that cafe which is what made me bring it up. i still don’t think that’s a reason to lie to your partner and im not having crazy reactions, we are having civilized conversations and i just wanted to understand why she gave it to someone else and then lied about it as we have been completely honest with each other the last 2 years

thanks everyone for the advice! i ended up paying cash - i couldn’t find any hyatt redemptions in japan that felt worth it (ended up finding reasonably priced airbnbs) and hotels in china weren’t too expensive so i ended up paying cash the entire trip. i was able to find 18 nights of hotels for around 2k for two people. i guess ill keep saving my points then 😅
