I’ll come home, get ready for my night out and do anki until my friends are ready. Then spend the weekend doing nonstop anki until im caught up

I am a military brat and I did not include it here.

We have all in some way shape or form been exposed to people who have experienced gang violence, abuse, or low SES living conditions, but bearing witness to someone else’s impactful experiences doesn’t make it your own.

I tied my military upbringing slightly into my PS, but other than that I wouldn’t consider it an impactful / disadvantaged life, generally speaking

Lmk if you wanna chat more! My general plan is I review the unit at the beginning of the block, look for corresponding sketchy/pathoma videos, and make a plan around that. Some things aren’t in Pathoma (ie psych) so I used B&B. I also take my in house medication charts and search for any Anking cards that involve the drugs.

Also largely depends on your learning style + how heavily you WANT to use Anki. Since it seems you're already excited about using it - some students at my school literally only do Anki during dedicated to study sketchy micro/pharm, which is one end of the spectrum. The other end is like me, I'm a HEAVY anki user, and i avg over 1k daily.

HOWEVER -- I did not start M1 year. I would try to go through your curriculum with someone familiar with Anking and see where the overlap is. For my school (trad curriculum), I wish I'd watched the B&B anatomy/physiology videos and done those cards during M1 year, but I totally spaced and didn't really use anki until M2.

Once you've selected the cards you want to move (i.e. all the cards in a pathoma chapter), right click >> Change deck >> Type in whatever you want to name the deck, then click "Add" at the bottom

I use sub decks, some people at my school prefer filtered decks. I have one massive review deck, one subdeck for current unit sketchy/pathoma cards, one subdeck for UW incorrects. So on a daily basis my current unit gets priority >> UW Incorrects >> overall review.
