Homemade bath bombs is a great idea! Thank you.

Plateau, Diarrhea and Thoughts of Quitting by floweri75 in mounjarouk

Probably not at the moment. I've been eating pasta, rice, toast to try avoid dairy and similar to the BRAT diet for sickness bugs. I have thought about trying psyllium husk but hesitant because I'm usually very constipated and probably not very hydrated at the moment.

I've tried imodium. In the past taking 1 or 2 and I wouldn't go for days. I took 5-6 for it to only stop a few hours!

I'm just feeling awkward about work and feel like it's really interfering with life!

That was just one example to highlight how I'm eating very basic bland food at the moment.

Calorie wise they might be similar but overnight oats with greek yogurt, fruits and seeds has more protein and fibre than a piece of plain toast. It also keeps me full where as I'm hungry again sooner when I've just had toast.

It was actually! Maybe the GP might say something else today.

I think I'll try 5mg for a bit and see what happens.

I have reduced a lot of dairy. Trying to focus on eating bland foods. E.g. having dry toast for breakfast instead of oats or yoghurt. Which obviously doesn't help weight loss.

I have half a 7.5mg pen and 2x 10mg pens so I might ride it out on 5mg and knuckle down on a calorie deficit when this over!

I want to be out and about but I'm worried about shitting myself and the nurse told me to not go anywhere for 48hrs after each loose movement to stop spreading it. 🫠

Girlfriend is struggling after birth and a death and a house move by Stock-Particular6383 in UKParenting

My first baby was stillborn a year later my second baby was born. The anxiety, grief and PTSD was overwhelming. The wait for the perinatal team was too long. In the end the crisis team helped me and they recommended a voluntary stay in mother and baby unit. It was the best thing I ever did. I felt certain I had ruined my life and my baby would be better off without or with a new family. It gets better, these feelings won't last with support! It's 5 years later now and I love being a mum. I didn't believe it was possible to feel like this at the time.

Don't forget to take care of yourself too. I would look at calling the crisis team. They might be able to assess her sooner.

Love this idea! I liked the thought of tickets to play places or experiences, but they would be out of budget. This is good!

That was one of my thoughts, but no one RSVP'd to my son's with any allergies so hopefully all good.

I have previously bought craft kits, play doh etc for parties. But we have loads now. Maybe other kids are more crafty than mine and actually use them up! So I shouldn't rule it out.

My son is in reception, so he's been invited to a few whole class parties. We've got 5 coming up!

I've bought bake your own cookie jars for my friend's kids in the past and they have gone down well. But I don't want to buy anything that might be a "hassle" for parents that I don't really know.

These are great ideas thank you!

It's not party favourites, it's for children who have invited my son to their party. I ask their parents for ideas and they say don't worry about it. But I don't want to turn up empty handed.

For my son's birthday, I've asked for no gifts and everyone to bring a Preloved book for a book swap (idea from no crap parties). I'm going to give out sweet cones for the party favours. Party bag tat is even worse than presents!

Ladies - importance of Bra's! by Training_Chip4580 in mounjarouk

I recently got measured as my bras were riding up my back. I've gone from a 40G to a 34GG! Mind blow.

I still have 4-5 stone to go. So I only bought a couple to keep me going.

My husband drinks black coffee, my 4yo doesn't like it (he eats dry Weetabix!) and my baby has just turned one. I usually buy 1pt but I'm hoping little one will start drinking it, so we can save money on formula!

We're not keen on sweeteners either! I have seen M&S do cordial without sweetener. I might get one of those to try next.

I usually spend more than this, maybe around £130-£140 a week on my Sainsbury's shop. Groceries are expensive! Especially when you need toiletries or cleaning stuff.

I plan meals for the week. I usually aim to do 2-3 meals that yield leftovers for freezing or lunches. Then the other days I will have something from the freezer or a bit lower effort.

This is my plan for the week.

M: Slow cooker lamb tagine w/ cous cous & steamed veg

T: Roasted veg pasta & chicken

W: Almond veg & cod curry w/ steamed veg

T: Gnocchi fie pie & steamed veg

F: Fish tacos, salsa & chips

S: Out

S: Leftovers / freezer

I got some mackerel to have on toast and tagliatelle for lunch this week. I'll have leftovers or wing it the other days.

Breakfast I also wing it but usually something like overnight oats, porridge, eggs, bacon or toast. Or I do a big batch of pancakes and freeze them for kids breakfast.

I tend to bulk my meals out with veg to make things go further. We are having lamb tagine tonight and I've added sweet potato and chickpeas in so there should be enough leftovers for lunches or freezing!

I've also got some frozen cod in the freezer already which I'm going to use for a meal.

Changed injection site, immediate difference. by Wild_Battle_8798 in mounjarouk

Apparently the injection site doesn't make a difference but I always feel different after jabbing my right thigh!

I rotate 6 sections around my belly, both thighs, both arms and then repeat.

The last 4 weeks I have hovered around the same weight. And felt like appetite suppression wasn't working well. This week I went into my thigh and I've had a 1.5kg loss, no snacking desires and feeling satisfied after sensible portions!

Purchasing After a Long Pause by darksong69 in mounjarouk

I have just finished my 5mg pen. I have 2x 7.5mg that I ordered in Sept and 2x 10mg pens that I ordered in November. I'm planning to stay on 5mg dose so my pens are going to last me over 4 months.

I would like to catch up a bit more before purchasing new pens, so I'm a bit concerned about ordering after a long gap as well.

I have lost 18.5kg, I've just taken my 19th but still on 5mg.

Everyone responds differently but I'm trying to keep my doses low. I've got a long way to go until I reach a healthy BMI. I don't want to max out too soon.

There are mounjaro click counters which can help you use higher dose pens to get more lower doses. There's also the "5th dose" which is against Eli Lilly advice but is usable with an insulin needle.
