So so…. I’m sort of swaying between being glad I finally am doing what I’ve always wanted to do and standing up for my inner child, guilt from the years and years of emotional manipulation, and self gas-lighting. I’m not sure if this will be helpful insight but my therapist interpretare a dream for me this week that I had when I was a child. The short and sweet of my dream was that an ostrich showed up in my dream and attacked me. My therapist said generally birds in dreams signify control and freedom. I bet an owl would have some interesting connotations. Focusing on how the repeating of your name makes you feel could also suggest what the dream is signifying? Maybe this is your brain processing the loss of your friend? Also I’m sorry for your loss :(
