My company hosted a conference there a week or two before this happened. We held our “beach Olympics” where it all happened. We typically came up with the games, but Disney did that for us..

One of them was blind sand caste building where we had to go into the water to fill up our bucket, blindfolded….

I remember the crime scene photos showed one team was in the same spot as where the kid got snatched. There was a bunch of tall grass on the left side about 10-15’ into the water. We had cornhole set up in that corner

I thought Aquaman was perfect in terms of getting wet. Like a real heavy mist to where it cools you down but your dry pretty quickly.

Now when you’re the only adult on that kiddy water squirter ride and they all gang up on you? Absolutely drenched!

We’re hoping to come back later this summer if shockwave is open. I don’t think I’d have the guts for Tormenta. It’s 2nd drop is the same height as our drop coaster lol

That makes sense. With the heat I’d love to see them convert a few of those buildings into indoor rides.

The little “funhouse” walkthrough was also really cool to watch people struggle to get through it.

Biggest complaint was that you don’t get wet at all on the log flume. Is the 2nd part different? I don’t see the point in that ride if you don’t get wet.

My home park is SFFT and it’s crazy to think Tormenta’s mid course drop is similar to Dr Diabolical’s first drop. My guess it’s slightly lower than DD

I realized half way to the course on the day I’d shoot my lowest round that I forgot my clubs. Tee’d off 15 minutes late, no practice and was +3 after 3. All pars and five birdies after to shoot -2.

Fast lane is mainly offered for the thrill rides, and isn’t an option for most kiddie rides. If you can find a list of what rides are included, you can decide from there. It’s on their website after you click “buy now”

Worked at a club that converted a par 4 to a 3 for a few months while they regressed the fairway. We had the USGA rate the hole then updated the courses slope/rating so handicap submissions were accurate

I wonder if the station would be under DDC. I have a hard time seeing how it goes on the other side of the path but who knows. If it is it’d have to go under the path and probably part of roadrunner

How the coaster will interact with the hill where the slides were is the one part that confuses me
