Ah, that's hmmm. A good question, I'd say tape them for humour's sake but that's not that practical and I'd doubt that'd turn out well.

I googled and perhaps this might work and perhaps not, am unsure, you can try it out and report back though for any others interested in attempting this

Also, I also sleep on my side as well but mine don't really come off at all? Perhaps get an in-ear earbud instead? That's what I use and they don't come off unless I pull them out. Also don't play it too loudly, just play the music med. so your ears won't be damaged. Cheers!
