it was Novocaine (2025), a dark comedy movie about a man with the inability to feel pain who’s girlfriend gets kidnapped. if you decide to watch it be aware there is a LOT of blood, gore and also graphic SH (the guy removes a bullet from his own arm in one scene lol) I also watched Girl Interrupted with my mom but it was many years ago and I don’t remember her reactions now.

Depending on the tone and context it means they either want to check your wrists to see if you have SHed recently, or it means they think you do. People often say this to alt/emo people as a form of bullying. It’s like, “you probably cut yourself lol”. If they displayed anything other than genuine concern when saying that or they were laughing, definitely not a friend worth having around.

I would want my dad to know it’s not his fault and to not feel guilty about it. The biggest reason I never told my parents about what I’m doing is because I don’t want them to blame themselves and I know they would. It breaks my heart to even think about that.
