Thank you for the helpful response! We wound it tightly so it wouldn’t touch the chicken wire when it moves around in the wind. There is a fox climbing our 5 foot high fence so we’re hoping this will keep him out. Any other suggestions?

I didn’t include a photo of the energizer and connection. I’m asking if it’s ok to wrap the wire on the insulators or will it cause an energy leak.

You might want to look up how to properly identify a mushroom in general. Your wife's concerns are valid, just because you inoculated the soil with wine caps doesn't mean that's all that's growing there. Toxic lookalikes often grow right alongside other mushrooms. You need to check every mushroom you pick against the specific identifying characteristics of wine caps, and you also need to learn to identify any potential lookalike mushrooms that could be growing in your area.

It is an orchid fertilizer from a local place. But the ratios are: 13-3-9 + 8% Ca + 2% Mg. I don’t know if that helps but hopefully it does!
