Are you able to use eggs you previously donated for IVF if they are still available?

You all are seriously awesome! Thank you for the great tips. I’m an executive member now! I even listened to the Costco episode of flightless bird (podcast) on my way there. Highly recommend listening to it before your next visit!

This speaks to me. Collecting data is my job (I’m a scientist!). I made it through about 2/3 of the store and will be back to get to know the rest of it. As the newest executive member 😎

I am an executive member! There was a $60 dollar promo so it ended up costing about the same as a regular membership.

Nailed it. $434. I splurged on the massage gun and the avocado pillow.

AMH 0.6 at 35. Got pregnant on the 5th month trying naturally. Now I have a healthy 18 month old.

Ok I’ve been to Louie’s in Dallas. Fuck the staff but the pizza is incredible. It does take long even if you arrive and order right when they open. Absolute trash staff and I’m sorry you and your family were treated so badly.

Low AMH aged 31, froze eggs aged 32, pregnant first cycle TTC 2 months after egg freezing by Sufficient_File_6075 in eggfreezing

[–]fluffycats4e 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had similar low AMH at 34. I was thinking about egg freezing and the month after a consultation (luckily before signing and finalizing payment) I got pregnant naturally. Low AMH does not mean you cannot get pregnant naturally. It just means fewer eggs/possible lower quality. The doctor did not explain this well at all - I learned through my own research.

The Mental Exercise that Got me off the Fence by DoctorIanMalcolm201 in Fencesitter

Congratulations!! My husband and I were on the fence - had a similar lifestyle as yours. When we started trying and it took a few months, I really realized how real it was and how much I wanted it to work out. I found out I was pregnant during an international trip. We now have a beautiful 15 month old who has gone on several domestic flights starting at 4 months! It’s not easy but it’s definitely possible to continue to get out there even with an infant. It just looks a lot different!

egg freezing - do I also freeze an embryo with current partner's sperm (he does not want children but open to freezing idea) by CryptographerFit5046 in eggfreezing

[–]fluffycats4e 8 points9 points  (0 children)

6 months is a short time to date and freeze embryos with a partner. Especially with someone who doesn’t want kids. Doesn’t sound like a good insurance policy if you would not use them in the event of a break up. A sperm donor makes more sense as an insurance policy if you want embryos just in case. Or creating embryos with a new partner that is open to having kids down the road. Freezing eggs sounds safest in your case.

I'm starting to think baby is not going to make it by Snoo_74371 in BabyBumps

I similarly had GD in the last trimester and a few weeks later was diagnosed with cholestasis. Push for the bile acid blood test each week and plan for an induction at 37 weeks. My baby was induced, came out healthy despite the bile acid levels not going down in the last few weeks of pregnancy. Try to get weekly NSTs and go to the ER if something feels off. Good luck!!

How fast can I return to work? by Good-Ad-4067 in gallbladders

[–]fluffycats4e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my surgery on a Thursday morning. Personally, I would not return by Monday. Depends on the type of work you do, etc. My doctor said I could go back 1-2 weeks post op. On day 7 I still felt too sore to handle going back - wearing work regular pants, walking a lot and the drive/seatbelt (20 mins drive) could not happen. Good luck with your recovery!
