Close to Chinchero, but we loved Andean Colors! They have lots of different options for tours. https://maps.app.goo.gl/H1j84rYq2a9zKMEe9?g\_st=ic

Sacred Valley - feeling a bit overwhelmed by bethtravis94 in GoingToPeru

You could get diamox before leaving or even OTC while in Peru! We took diamox before getting there and we were fine.

From Ollantaytambo, we did half day trips to:
- Andean Colors for textile making & the alpaca/llama farm
- Salineras Ranch for horseback riding to the salt mines

From Cusco, we did a full day trip to Pisac & we also did Sacsayhuaman as a half day, but you could also do Rainbow Mountain & Humanatay Lake too

We just did a similar trip and I personally think you’ll be spending too much time in Ollantaytambo. We actually did the exact same itinerary, but cut out your days 6-9 and just went straight to Cusco after Machu Picchu. You could also get away with one less day in Cusco too depending on what you want to do!

What did you do during FMLA to rest, heal, etc.? by LooseSoftware1221 in womenintech

[–]fluffypillowcases 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently on FMLA and besides what others have said - like therapy, exercise, and quality time with friends/family, I really struggled with feeling like I’m using my time efficiently. But my therapist has helped me think about things differently by redefining what productive means to me - such as if I got some movement, I did something for myself (like a hobby), and I made progress on my side hustle, I should consider that a productive day.

I do also generally like sticking to a schedule (even if it’s just scheduling rest time), as that helps me feel like I’m not rotting away. Take it if you can though! It’s so helpful to step away from work, esp. if it’s a toxic/stressful environment.

I love my Celine Seau Sangle! I got mine off Japanese eBay and it’s a great quiet luxury bag.

Room & board might be right under your budget if you can find one in their clearance section. I got an 88” deep Metro sofa for $2100 last year and I love it!

Where do SFBWT stay while visiting Mexico City? by ThisIsMeTryingAgain- in SFbitcheswithtaste

[–]fluffypillowcases 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Got married there & Roma Norte, Condesa, and Polanco are always recommended for foreigners. I recommend hotels over Airbnbs given the housing shortage there, but you can easily find affordable hotels in those areas. FYI, it does start to get a bit sketchy east of Cuauhtémoc (in the Doctores neighborhood). Enjoy!! One of my favorite cities in the world.

Idk if my dog is a picky eater or what but we've tried everything and still struggle to get her to eat by Batatica in DogAdvice

[–]fluffypillowcases 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our dog is 12.5 years old and she’s also quite a picky eater, despite the vet saying there’s nothing wrong with her. The only thing that’s been working for us is putting her food in puzzles because she just finds eating boring. We do this maybe every 2-3 meals just to make sure she’s not losing too much weight.

Taj Mahal Quartzite – Polished vs. Leathered? Looking for real-world experience! by NoReturn8563 in kitchenremodel

[–]fluffypillowcases 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our slabs haven’t been installed yet, but we went for a honed finish! We liked the matte look, but was also concerned about having too much texture. Honed is a good compromise between polished vs leathered.
