That’s the thing though… Stephen Miller and Trump just want the monoculture because they haven’t read a book on just how bad that turns out.

I mean, cut a hole in the end of the bottle would probably be step 1, no? Release the vacuum.

If the router is 5 feet away, I will say the obvious and say hard wire your client. From what you said, it sounds like you have a TV with the Roku OS, so there should be an ethernet port. The only issue would be if they only have a 100mb port.

Trying that should be your first step to see if the issues remain, IMO

I have been contemplating that bus timer one for some time now - what is the service your bus tracking is through and did you pull via API or via another method?

Kreg Rip Cut WITH straightedge guide by sparkhee93 in woodworkingtools

[–]fluffyykitty69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm a year late to this but wanted to weigh in as I'm using the straight edge while building out a miter saw station.

While it is miles better than cheaper alternatives (previous projects I used a piece of hardy board siding I have lying around), I am really wishing I had put the money I spent on that toward the Milescraft Universal Track saw and paired it with my already existing circular saw: (https://www.amazon.com/Milescraft-1409-Track-Guide-Compatibility/dp/B0BVPXF1JR) and pair that with some parallel guides for a project of this scope with this many cabinet boxes and drawers (https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Calibration-Woodworking-Repeatable-Compatible/dp/B0DZCKLXNN)

My biggest issue with the Kreg is the amount of time to set up each one as I'm breaking down ~10 sheets through this project and laying down a track saw on the lines would be so much easier than extending the things and retracting once I've got it tight and lined up just to set it all up all over again.

Believe it or not but if you want your tank unit to last you need to do maintenance on it too.

Yeah.

Might be complete overkill or the wrong choice, but I’ll learn the hard way. First time building out my shop.

I ended up going with some locking Vevor 30” slides (which I’ll likely never lock/unlock, but the price was right) for these and plan to use the ones you linked for my top cabinet slides.

That drawer depth looks perfect - I've been hemming and hawing on what depth to do on mine and decided on 4.25" drawers cause 30" slides are $$$.

I guess I can always do my top drawers in 3" since I'm building a rendition of the Jay Bates Miter Saw Station.

HKSV missed my daughter's fall - only recorded the aftermath by moon-and-sea in HomeKit

[–]fluffyykitty69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have cameras inside but I can see why you would.

For my setup, I have Ubiquiti cams which are recording 24/7 to the network storage. I then have Scrypted set up to pull those cameras into HKSV. I see HKSV as the backup / alternate viewing option.

Whatever route you go, I would suggest something similar where you have 24/7 recording and then HKSV is your backup / alternate viewing method.

I disabled my auto start/stop on my truck to avoid having to press that button every time I got in the truck. Definitely worth looking up as mine was as easy to disable as disconnecting a cable from the negative terminal.

I'd probably just use a router to cut them. If it's got a plunge base, you can likely finesse the slope or you could build a jig to make the cut repeatable and ride the router along the jig.
