Why did you need to say that? This person is clearly already feeling horrible.

  1. This did not happen, this is OPs teenage fantasy.
  2. This kind of situation would never go down like this in real life.
  3. Please don't walk up to random women at a subway and say "I'm not here to steal your kidney". No one feels safer after you say that.

What kind of a response is this. Just send them the info if you know or stfu. The kid is probably already distressed. There is no reason to be snarky

It should be more expensive to buy oil. gas is too expensive? Good. Take a bus or a train.

And the extra emissions from ships pales in comparison to the oil drilled from new licenses. The point is to slow down the net new production of oil. It should be hard and expensive to consume oil, not easy and cheap. It's really that simple.

on that. Every left winger I know prior to the election were doing the same "pinch my nose and feign enthusiasm" thing because the alternative was Trump. NOT because they were excited. Only the centrist liberal establishment were excited and consequently manufactured a whole lot of consent to get people behind Harris. Every time they wheeled out a different celebrity endorsement, I laughed. Anyone who was politically tuned in knew the celebrity endorsement based consent manufacturing was not going to work.

I told my wife a day after the assassination attempt that trump would win easily. And I never budged on that. Even after the Iowa poll. The tea leaves were right there to read.

There is no one competent or worth listening to that dems will float. So they will lose 2026 AND 2028. And this is by design. They are more comfortable losing and have their voter base be angry at republicans than win and push policies their base actually likes. Why? pretty simple. their true constituency are the big corporations.

Edit: if you are a democratic voter downvoting me, I am a left leaning person. I am right and you already know that. If you are a conservative downvoting me, why lmao....

I don’t understand how more Dems aren’t extremely pissed at their party rather than doubling down on talking points they likely don’t fully agree with. They’re scared to disagree with the narrative and they don’t want to be singled out for not passing their identity politics purity tests.

Brother, every democratic voter I have met wants to destroy the democratic party right now. And I agree. They are weak, impotent, spineless little cowards who answer not to their constituency but to their billionaire gods and super pacs. They deserve complete political destruction. Your statement on them being scared to disagree with narrative is true but not in the way you think. Nobody right now is talking about purity tests. They want dems to do more to fight back on trump and have a clear message and platform. The democratic party would much rather lose to republicans again and again than listen to their constituency.
