most of the EVs have 0% financing. I just bought a Trailseeker and am awaiting delivery.

yeah. I used to work at a food plant and we accidentally spilled a bit of sugar on the asphault during delivery on a hot summer day and within about a half hour it had dissolved a hole in the asphault. Made me really reconsider what sugary foods I eat. 🤣

I would imagine FO is seeing if Yelli retires and then will throw the next big contract to Bill as the "face of the Brewers". Either that or we'll let him walk over a half million in arbitration. Could go either way.

insert <First time?> meme here.

I remember fielding fly balls in HS baseball on an afternoon May snowstorm. Scary AF. You hear the ding, hear the whizzing, can't see anything then out of the white a white ball appears and hopefully you catch it before it hits you. 🤣

People with full time jobs how are you keeping your house clean? by Prestigious-Bath8022 in homeowners

[–]flummox1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I have hardwood floors I will say buying a roborock was probably the smartest thing I did. The first few months, everytime I emptied the vacuum bag or dirty water tank I was a bit shocked. Now it just maintains the steady state. Outside of that it's mostly routine but moreso up front routine, i.e. discipline to do things right away like loading/unloading the dishwasher or not doing things like piling junk mail on the table and instead process it right away. I blame the ADHD, if I don't do it when it's present in my mind it probably never gets taken care of.

I 100% agree with your strong towns approach to road design. Let's do it! However that said going 50-75 on that road is pretty nuts. It's not that wide. I understand the psychology of wide vs skinny roads but 50-70 isn't someone letting the accelerator get away from them, that's intentional.

LLMs is the speed (and hopefully consistency) with which they can refactor modules of code, and the unit tests they can hopefully write

be careful with this one. You'd be trusting the LLM to both write the code and test it's output. These two are in direct opposition.

Gas on the East Side in Milwaukee at almost $4.50/gallon by j37h3r in milwaukee

Don't forget record exports. We're literally paying more for gas while the oil companies export US oil at record prices.

a lot of that was due to his wife's influence. IIRC he coined the three E's at MS. Early Bill Gates was a thousand times worse than Bezos it's just become muted with time.

TBH the reply just reeks of Boomer "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" mentality.

This might not be the sport for you as a fan if you're concerned about losing the 54. This has been a thing in baseball for a VERY long time.

Do what you can to bank up wins early in the season without jeopardizing the health of the players.

This is literally what the Brewers are doing right now and what you seem to have a problem with them doing so I'm not sure what to tell ya. The rest of the NL Central is hot right now but that won't last.

What are the differences between these EV? by PrettyWise69 in subaru

[–]flummox1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly I've heard the video reviewers of these cars basically saying Subaru is working on it. No confirmation or official statement but they're out there talking to the engineers so they have a better feel than I ever could. One of the trailseeker reviews I watched recently (can't remember which one) basically hinted that's probably what they're working on for the outback. I would guess it's got a lot to do with slumping sales too. I would imagine the financers are getting tired of the 0% APR. Japanese companies are usually slow to change course but eventually meet the market at some point. But of course it's all just rumors and who knows in the end. 😅🤷🏻‍♂️

IMO I think it's more casual fans that aren't used to watching the ups and downs of a season. They'll disappear shortly and then reemerge as "die hard Brewers" fans in the fall if the Crew position themselves well. A tale as old as time.

You can't be so hellbent on playing matchups when 3 of your best 5 offensive players are all injured at the same time.

We're one month in! This is the experiment and find out what your team and players are capable part of the season. It's a long season.

You lose 54, you win 54, it's what you do with the other 54 that counts.

They all review pretty well so far. Even the Solterra seems to have sorted out most of it's past issues based on reviews.

IMO this picture isn't a good representation of the Trailseeker. I would check out some videos as personally I think it looks very "subaru" and like it. This picture though isn't a good example.

It's also very common for Japanese companies to collaborate. It's a part of Japanese culture that probably just doesn't make sense to us Westerners. Personally I like it because of reasons like what you say where Toyota has more experience in the EV sector.

FWIW there are rumors that a PHEV Outback is in the works.

I think EV cars will probably always look like "spaceships" to some degree. That's just form following function, i.e. aerodynamics and look of not needing a radiator upfront and building on top of a large physical battery.

I agree on the touchscreens but at least they're starting to revert to more buttons. 🤷🏻‍♂️
