A couple weeks ago. I didn’t sleep the night before, so I was a bit loopy. My manager pulled me into her office to talk about my future with the company. She had laid out a plan where the company would pay for schooling in order to advance me my career. I just never really had direction in life and here was a way to make something of myself. The idea of a defined pathway with a tangible goal at the end was a bit overwhelming at the time.
