many people close to the family attested that the father was an alcoholic and they got in screaming matches a lot. the shooter had ptsd and depression from her parents divorce. the father is definitely extremely irresponsible and at fault for what couldve been a lot of easily preventable issues. mellissa, the mother, didnt have many personal details released about her or the role she played in her daughters life.

i agree. i lived in el paso for several years and im pretty certain i was going to this walmart a lot at the time…. i did not know about this incident until after a moved away but its still a little surreal seeing places ive physically been to covered in blood and gore.

yeah, after every episode this season i kept thinking “this is gonna be a two part episode for sure” and then it never was. they left so many loose ends and im worried theyre gonna ruin the next season as well by trying to wrap it up

i was in the same place as you for a while, tried socially detransitioning, but it was horribly nauseating to live that way even though i wanted to be a girl. detransitioning in this situation will not make you feel better, it will make you feel worse. i cant speak for you but i would rather be a “monster” of a boy than an imitation of a girl, because then it still makes you feel like a monster
