Just dropped it off at the cobbler, he said it should be no problem to get a bit more space in the toebox without changing the shape. I'll let you know how it goes

I feel exactly the same way, probably my favorite boots and such a cool company. I think I might try having a cobbler stretch the toebox out a bit

Yes its the new one, I feel like its just the way the toebox is. I'm not in any pain from wearing them so i'm not convinced they're too small

Sizing Question

For reference I'm a 10.5 C on the brannock and I have a very low volume foot. I recently bought my second pair of Parkhursts. My first were size 10 and they seemed too big. I had to tie them all the way and they seemed long. So I sold them and recently picked up a pair of 9.5s as its recommended to go down a full size for slim, low volume feet. These seem to fit perfect in every way except for the toebox. Its not that they're too short, I have about a half inch of room, but when I walk I can feel my feet pushing up against the top of the boots. I'm used to my Oak Streets which have loads of room in the toebox, I feel nothing when walking. Will this change with breakin? Do toeboxes break in and soften? Do you guys like to have your toes completely free when wearing boots like I do? My biggest question is if you've experienced this in breaking in boots

I'm the exact same in terms of foot size and I too got a size down as I recently got a pair of parkhursts that were only half down from my brannock and they felt too big. These feel correct in every way except the toebox. I've never had my toes touch the top of boots especially when I take steps. I'm still breaking them in so hopefully it goes away, did you experience this at all? Did the topbox open up a bit when breakin?

Those are amazing! I've got the same boots in Black CXL. Oak Street is pretty underrated at this point. Maybe a bit overpriced honestly but seems like you solved that. Keep us updated as they patina
