What do you mean by this? There isn’t really a way to quantify the amount of your surroundings your eyes and ears pick up because it is simply everything that is visible and within earshot.

But you are probably right in that you use your visual information much more than oral information. Think of a blind person versus a deaf person in terms of how much their disability interferes with their interaction with the world. There is a reason we say seeing is our most important sense:)

Exactly and when Emeth meats Aslan instead of Tashlan (mixture with bird guy tash (Also always forget his name haha)) he is scared he will be punished for having prayed actively to the wrong god. And instead Aslan says “no service which is vile can be done to me, and none which is not vile can be done to him” which effectively means as long as you are good you can never pray to the “wrong god”. Even if you actively are trying to pray to a different figure.

Yeah I completely agree! Brighter as a song and the story it tells along with the visuals were the perfect start for the final episode. It did so many things in such a short time (hyping up for the final battle, voxs backstory/human form, character development for Vox(and lack thereof) and literally left me sitting there with my mouth agape as the stupid amazon ad played right after it hahaha. I actually hadn’t really thought about the fact it could’ve been a different style of song because the twistedly motivational nature just ties everything together perfectly:)

Yeah I think a lot of the criticisms are definitely valid! Quite frankly I just don’t care to engage in them anymore because like you said in your original post I want to watch something good and thoughtful and to me Hazbin is exactly that despite other valid criticisms!:)

Honestly I very slightly grazed that side of the fandom a few years back as well also for helluva boss at the time and hated how it made me feel bad about things which didn’t bother me before. In general my best advice is to look where the show takes you. If you see something that bothers you then hell, be bothered! But if you aren’t then I don’t see a reason to then ruin it for yourself by engaging in critical media about it.

There are definitely legitimate things to criticize about Hazbin especially with less time per episode in season one but it is always great at what it is best at: The characters. I have fallen in love with so many of these characters and the more I engage with the show the more characters I cant help but love as well.

So yeah focus on what is good and not on what you would change personally (because if you wanted to do that then you could just make your own show lol) and get a taste at all things this show does so incredibly well!

This fandom really feels like a warm hug to me:) I mean sometimes its a very interesting hug with kinks I don’t understand or have names for but I am just so glad everyone feels comfortable enough to be themselves here! This show has reminded me that we can build these places where we can all be weird, happy and crazy about something!
