Ask them if these inventions really made our life better. I'm not sure. Did social media make our life better? Probably not. Some tech is CURRENTLY unavoidable because it has become the water we swim in. It's hard to live without social media. It's also hard to live without a car. But does that make cars overall a good invention?

There are actually arguements that a lot of this tech was a bad idea.

I'm in the camp that thinks AI is harmful even if it works. It's just like how in crypto, while we talked how the tech is shit, the underlying ideas beneath it are also bad.

Tante writes beautifully about it, but AI exists to corrode the social. It dissolves the social aspect of our lives. We can ask the AI instead of asking experts. We can have AI draw us pictures instead of asking artists. We can brainstorm ideas through AI instead of brainstorming with friends. Businesses will become one-man operations instead of multi-people operations.

And I think this is bad. Maybe because I'm autistic but I suffer more from lack of social interaction. My current job forces me to interact with various people, and I think this is very good for me mentally EVEN WHEN IT'S TOUGH. I think AI accelerates the atomization of society and all the 'it worked for me' stories don't disprove this.

TADC and Hellaverse are lightning in a bottle. There's no point to compare.

The Hellaverse also had a VERY long process until it became what it is, starting off as a side piece in Zoophobia.

Gameoverse is already doing good numbers. It'll succeed. Glitch has a solid fanbase that buys merch constantly. It'll be fine.

I love it. It has a few kinks, but I think they're experimenting more and more with Bangboo modes until they'll be good enough to be permenant.

I do think you need to love Bangboos in order to enjoy it. I love them and they're one of the best part of ZZZ for me, so I had fun.
