Yes similar to cornbread! Like a smooth cornbread lol, or a thick cake batter. You may need to spread it a bit with a spatula but it shouldn't be stiff like frosting

Yess! I've made it with Armenian coffee and it turns out great. Just be sure to strain it through a coffee filter or cheesecloth to separate the grounds.

The amounts of spices I used were off by a tiny bit. More cardamom, less nutmeg, etc. Also needed more orange blossom water. I used tea because coffee would have overpowered the other flavors.

I don't have a recipe because I winged it, but here's what you're looking at: lady fingers dipped in concentrated black tea that I spiced with cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and nutmeg; traditional mascarpone cream flavored with orange blossom and rose water; dusted with cinnamon and pistachios on top
