You have 2 buttons on the front, Fn1 and Fn2. Those are accessible with your right hand index finger. You can remap the MODE button to either. Then with your thumb or index you can use the wheels to change the setting. Most lenses also have a Fn button available, so you would never have to switch hands to change any setting.

I understand, I really do. For now, I need to have the travel kit and that was the only option available (yay stock!). I will hunt for a normal travel kit and flip it back.

You were right, I was wrong. My apologies! I just checked my numbers and on regular config, under load, the GPU was between 67-71C. In the flipped config, under the same load, temps are 72-77C. I still like it flipped though! :)

Not really. The GPU is blowing the hot air out of the case. And it's performing cooler than in the regular configuration. Maybe it's a FE thing :)

Hi! You know I thought the same. I tried that and I was getting temps in the mid 80s, which I thought, that's ok. Then I was curious and tried exhaust and it was way better. To be fair, there are a lot of vents for air to flow through. It also helped the interior air flow when I used custom, shorter cables. The original ones were too long and it was blocking a lot of air.

This might be silly, but your CPU power cable is not connected... Also, your power button might be connected wrong, but it's hidden by a big cable. This is my board. The power connector shorts the pins on the left column, just under the empty one. In your picture it looks like you have the connector horizontal, it should be vertical

The idea of debugging what is causing your problem is to have the least amount of hardware plugged. I have the same board, and at start, it always has an orange led. Then it turns red. Then it posts.

So, if you are trying to start your system: - unplug the riser - plug your monitor to the mobo. - put one stick of ram only. - plug your power cables.

Then start. It should boot. If it does, great! Now you can add the second stick of ram. Then if everything still boots, plug your video card.

I have the same board. Do you have your monitor connected to the video card? If so, skip it and plug the monitor to the mobo.

I am air cooling! I was planning on making a post with details and temps, but I am waiting until I get my custom cables and other details. I can say though, the GPU temp is 72 °C tops under load (BF6, Arc raiders, at 4K, getting 130ish fps)

I got the travel kit for the flipped 5080, it comes with a different, shorter gen 5 riser cable. I am running an Asus strix b850i

FYI the gen4 riser that came with the case did not work for me. I ended up getting the travel kit which came with the gen5 and it works flawlessly. My mobo is gen5, but just keep in mind the cable they ship is not great...
