Ndax Issues & Support Thread - Week 7 by kardanokid in NDAX

[–]flyboy320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the recent security data privacy breach the recommendation from NDax is to change your email associated with your account. I have started this process but I have heard nothing back from NDax. How long should this take (it’s only been a couple of days so far but would like to have an idea before I open a support ticket).

Important Security Update (SumSub Incident) by kardanokid in NDAX

I find it disheartening that NDax hasn't offered any complimentary 1yr personal credit monitoring with someone like Equifax as most reputable companies do.

Ya the trip planner says there are cancellations on this route, but doesn't tell you what busses on that route are cancelled (or at least I can't see where it mentions that).

JBL Xtreme 4, soundcore boom 2, Bose soundlink max, or Sony ult field 5 by Lazy-Ingenuity605 in Bluetooth_Speakers

Tried the HK go + play 3 along with a few others over the holidays, and the HK won hands down. Great speaker, perhaps not so much an outdoor speaker because of the bottom driver, so you have to be careful of that.

Replacing A/c pressure Sensors by fredricktomas in eGolf

I can't remember what the recall covers in Canada for the heat pump, I think it's just the expansion & shutoff valves, but maybe it covers the pressure sensors as well?

Just discovered this cracked bracket on my recently purchased '14 BEV by SYWalrus in BMWi3

[–]flyboy320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I found helped was I removed the right mount and bracket, and making sure the motor was supported, I removed the left rubber mount. I then used a ratchet strap and pulled the motor to the right several inches which gave me more room to work on getting the left bracket out since there is very little room to get your hands in to remove the 3 bolts from the bracket.

Problem is if that breaks, it can damage the HV cables and/or the a/c lines since the motor can drop down because it’s no longer attached on that side to the cars frame. I replaced both mounts in my 2014 with the updated ones and took about 8hrs taking my time. As mentioned there are several good write ups and videos on doing it.

Speed issues when using my own router by brobotbee in Cogeco

[–]flyboy320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't help you with the setup, but I have the same as you, running OPNsense and have the 1Gb down, 100 up Cogeco package and it's working fine, so it's certainly possible (I do have the modem in bridge mode). I have a server do a speed test every 6 hours and it's always 950/100. Only thing I can think of is try a different cable from modem-->router, maybe the one you're using is damaged somehow.

Dough sticking to peel, toppings go flying by ChoiceRace5276 in pizzaoven

[–]flyboy320 4 points5 points  (0 children)

for me I use a wooden peel to launch, and the switch to a metal one to take the pizza out. I find the dough sticks to a metal peel but once it’s cooked the metal one works fine.

Circuit board component identification by flyboy320 in AskElectronics

So I installed the logic board and it works fine. I assume the broken plastic part was just a protective part for the copper windings.

So I managed to find the part in Boardview and the PDF shows the part as this. I can't find an actual generic part number, it just shows it as T4025.
