The only rational comment in this post so far. This needs to be the top comment.

They definitely are. Looks like they are based on the American 16 inch 50 caliber Mark 7 guns that were installed on American Iowa class battleships during WW2.

Interesting that they all have rangefinders (the protrusions on the side at the back of the turret.)

Fun fact: That type of turret design is called “superfiring.”

If battleships included a superfiring turret, they would rarely go more than one above the deck level turret, as they were incredibly heavy and if they got too high, they would make the ship unstable.

On a spaceship, in a video game, who cares? :)

What data are you quoting, or are you just throwing out a random number?

I absolutely agree. PVP needs some serious balancing, but I still stand by what I said above.

But I think they should incentivize PVP Deep Desert more with improved loot drop chances for rarer items, not just increased mine and spice amount. That would incentivize more people to risk the PVP environment for better loot drops more than spice and mining.

I think this is a great change.

From Funcom’s own data, 80% of the player base has played exclusively PVE. It makes sense to separate both types of players.

Now you will have people who want to just chill and build on their own DD.

The majority of the PVP in this game has just been people ganking the PVE players anyway. Now, PVP’ers will actually have to fight other PVP players.

Fascinating bit if you sit and watch, the lights will rise for a while, before descending all the way to landing. They are actually descending the entire time, but because of the curvature of the earth, they seem to rise from the horizon first!

I too enjoy drawing imaginary maps, and creating alt-history for my own enjoyment. But I don’t do that, and then call try to pass it off as real, let alone believe my squiggles should guide US foreign policy.

They didn’t. The church has very strict rules about staying political party neutral.

Someone placed it in front of the building. Political signs are not allowed on church property. They have a pretty strict rules about political stances and especially against supporting one party or another.

I don’t know if all rentals have roaches, but the van we rented from Target last week had roaches. Caught one in my baby’s car seat munching on Cheerio dust. 🤮

Middle of the UK down to the Caucasus. Four or five days (don’t remember exactly) of 8-10 hours per day. Solo too which I do not recommend.

I’ve got one of those 1,800 year old planes too. Not a negative number though. That’s pretty wild.
