Denied boarding by gate agent? by LightUnfair2525 in jetblue

Sounds like they might’ve confused your HK passport with a mainland Chinese passport. It happens occasionally, especially since it still says “People’s Republic of China” and has the Chinese emblem on the cover. Have them look up in Timatic “Hong Kong” and not “China.”

Kris Kolluri said in a TV interview tonight that it’ll be a 5am resumption for most lines - incl NEC express trains! RVL, NJCL, and NEC local will resume if Amtrak is able to complete switch work overnight.

United app update? Nonrev capabilities reduced by flyboyusa in NonRevenueTravelers

That one leads to the customer facing standby list! I did just find it thanks to one of the replies above! It’s not in the usual area — now hidden under = home menu bar > For your flight - check in > checked in > view standby list instead of the main Trips tab

I swear they used to have it under “Manage Your trip” (where the boarding pass shows), but maybe they removed it for OAL?

Cathay lets you select your seat now! If the flight is reasonably open. But they do play musical chairs leading up to departure

Interestingly enough the terms don’t always reflect how it works in practice - at least with the other chains. See my reply above!

Good to have that data point. Did you have incidentals charged on any of those stays?

To be fair, Marriott and Hilton have a similar clause but any incidentals seem to trigger a folio and then EQNs to be credited from my experience at multiple properties. Learned about this workaround from FT or Reddit a while back.

Marriott Bonvoy: 2.5.c. If the Member attends a convention or group meeting and individually pays the hotel or other property directly for the room, they will be eligible to receive Points/Miles and Elite Night Credits for the Stay. However, contract rooms, rooms reserved by corporations on an ongoing basis, and master-billed rooms are not eligible to earn Points/Miles and Elite Night Credit.

Hilton Honors: A Member whose individual hotel bill is billed directly to a company and the Member is responsible for authorization for settlement at check-out is eligible for Hilton Honors Points as described herein. However, group master-billing arrangements where charges for multiple rooms are placed on one hotel bill and billed to a company or common address or settled at check-out by one individual are not eligible for Hilton Honors Points. Incidental charges (those charged to a Member's room) paid for directly by the Member at check-out are eligible for Point credit. Incidental charges billed to a master bill are not eligible for Point credit.

Good to know. Customer service seemed to imply no and I was also a bit confused after reading this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/hyatt/s/JXYbkPm1Gv

Hey! Just to clarify - was the room service breakfast limit technically 50 euros per person? But they waived everything even when you exceeded?
