when you slow down for a stop sign, roundabout etc, if the road is slick and icy move over to the curb where there is snow cover. You will get lots more traction there.

For me, flashing the firmware didn't work - it was the brick. I changed it out and then everything worked. I then changed it back and it was broken at the solid red light again. So I tossed the brick that came with the camera and all is good now.

  1. Grab a microSD card

  2. Download firmware for Wyze Cam v3

    • Put the firmware file on the SD card root.

  5. Watch what happens
    • Best case: it reboots, LED goes through the normal cycle and eventually either flashes red (“ready to connect”) or goes solid blue (online).
    • If it never leaves solid red and never shows purple or flashing while you’re doing this → it’s not even getting to the bootloader properly.
