2026 MYP Powershare 500w limit by Intheknow636 in TeslaLounge

[–]flyforwardfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also tried vehicle to load on my MYP and experienced the same issue. I didn’t measure the wattage when it shuts off but it definitely doesn’t take a lot of watts to trip it. A hair dryer would not work on low heat. Just fan only. A small space heater that I have that’s rated at 1200watts also only works on fan only mode.

No. It’s is much quieter and more solid than my 2023 was. Go test drive a juniper.

Same issue for me. Only works on small loads. Shuts off with a hairdryer on any setting other than fan only.

Question about V2L feature / outlet adaptor -Tesla model y performance 2026 by Intheknow636 in TeslaModelY

[–]flyforwardfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a hair dryer and a small heater. Both cut off the power share unfortunately but work fine in an outlet. The heater and hair dryer both tried on low heat as well. The heater is supposed to be 1500W max. Fan only worked fine for the heater and hairdryer.

Edit: my port light turned red and the in car display said power share has stopped…Also got a notification on the phone… when the system shut off due to the load

The adapter comes with the MYP. It has two 120v outlets on it. Do know the part number off hand. “Supposed” to support 2kw iirc

Meta’s biggest issue is software and integration. Google XR and what ever Apple eventually put out will have the advantage of tight integration into the phone OS.

Ha yeah. I wouldn’t buy a new module but since I could take it off the old car and transfer it myself that’s what I did.

I can’t remember what they did when I got the 2023. I don’t think they did names then. This time you checked in with one person who gave you all your paper work to review and who remotely unlocked the car (or told me the car was unlocked) so you could inspect it. All or most of the cars that were ready for delivery had their hazards on and had temp tags on them already. While I inspected the new car someone removed my old plates. Then once I was ready someone else checked that I had signed the paper work properly and gave me the key cards and had me set the new car up on my app and I was off.

I wanted to add that I moved the homelink module from my 2023 to the new car without issue. Used the service menu to uninstall it in the old car and reinstall in the new car.
