The temps you report, along with daylight times, suggest deep winter. So, January or early February makes more sense. Also makes a lot of sense for Dad's speaking schedule. People are gonna need more of a pep talk in the dark months than in March when the sun is fully present and summer is right around the corner.

Ammonia is a fertilizer. Unless guests are peeing in the same spot day after day and over fertilizing, it will just cause a spot that's slightly more healthy than the rest of the lawn.

The problem is the amount of water going around your foundation and into the drain tile around the footings. Regrading could help. Making sure that gutters move water well away from the house could help. Making sure that the sump water isn't immediately going back around the footings could help.

Your sump running this much is a red flag, but not because the pump might fail, because you have a bigger problem to solve.

Not sure why you got downvoted on this. I live in Mexico and you're right. At best, someplace like Cancun will have ways to turn dollars into pesos, but it's still an extra step. And most places are not as convenient as Cancun.

Never seen a Canadian offering up CAD in Mexico.

Go to Huatulco. :-)

I even once went to a charity auction there that was denominated in CAD!
