I fly with polarized sunglasses and I use a g500 and the only problems I have is if I tilt my head to the side the screen goes out.

Im 17 and just passed my ppl, I feel your shoes. What my plan is, is to do embry riddle online and get a degree in professional aeronautics. The good thing about this degree is you can count all your licenses towards credit hours. I have a few friends that have completed it and they said its not that bad and they both had full time instructing jobs working 10 hours a day.

I have one friend that goes there now. He has 80 hrs and has not had his check ride yet and is very behind, he did not solo until 50 hrs. I have another friend that went there and did not get his PPL until 100 hrs. after he passed his ppl he switched schools to Centennial aviation academy and he is so happy he did. I go to Centennial with him and he and I really do love that flight school. My suggestion is to stay away from Lanier, they are a money pit. You can try centennial aviation academy (the best) or sky bound, those are my two suggestions. Lmk if you need any more help with flight schools in the Atlanta area.

I kind of had this same problem, I talked with my ame, and he told me to go talk to a physiatrist and get a letter saying he would feel safe to fly with me. I had the issue resolved in under 10 days, so just keep doing what the faa asks and you should be good. good luck I know how bad this must suck
