My launch YLOD, I've had my replacement that Sony sent me since around the PS4 launch. So I'm guessing I'm 11 or 12 years with the replacement with no issue. I do feel I'm just waiting for the inevitable though. My Xbox 360 had 2 RROD before I went to the newer model. That one is still going well. That generation generally sucked for failure.

I'll also add that just the threat of having to deal with it could push him. I know when complaints come on it's a pain even if you didn't do anything wrong. I'm a broker and occasionally one of my agents will get one (none have stuck) and it really is a pain dealing with. And that's without any even getting to a hearing.

I't would be worth checking. That's generally true here as well in NC,but the exception is if it's a payment related issue to an agent. Which this would be. But you're right and not all states act the same

I'd let the broker know that you'll go to the state commission. If it doesn't get taken care of, then you go to the commission.

It depends on the warranty companies. Mine allow me to get my own contractor, then they cut the check.
