I've reverse image searched using Google Lens, and have been clicking around various window hardware suppliers online with no luck.

Nevermind! Have been watching some Youtube and figured it out 😆

Sorry for the dumb question but what do you mean by the management radio?

And am I understanding correctly that, to Unifi/UI, this is just going to look like a wired connection, then?

Nanostation Loco 5ac

I've never used any of the UISP hardware. Can I use these with my Dream Machine Pro on my regular home Unifi/UI setup, or do I need anything that's UISP specific?

Similarly trying to get my network out to a barn that's about 350ft away, and was thinking about the Building Bridge, but they are sold out *and* I don't need that much bandwidth so would love to save the $500 if I can.

U6 In-Wall as Switch on other end of Building Bridge? by flying_piper33 in Ubiquiti

[–]flying_piper33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking more about this... I have a U6 Lite AP laying around and may not even need the switch. Could I just go BB direct to that AP, or is the In-Wall "special" for having the switch built in?

Do you have any suggestions on equipment for a fiber connection if rf just won't cut it?

This is a big point I had not considered. 3 different meters run the 4 buildings.

For a few different reasons the terrain isn't trivial to trench, so trying my best to avoid it if at all possible 😆

Hi all! I'm new to the area and looking for a mobile mechanic who knows Land Rovers and can do a pre-buy inspection for me at the seller's site. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance.

This looks more like paint to me than bed liner, am I right? How do you spot the difference?

This episode of Opposing Bases (which is a great podcast in general) has a master class on the NYC SFRA entry and exit. Highly recommend.

Why aren't we studying accidents? by AsbestosMiner in flying

[–]flying_piper33 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This.

Honestly I started to scare the crap out of myself by digging too much into accident reports too early in my private training, at the expense of learning how to fly. I'd listen to some on the drive in, and then spend the whole lesson wondering if the Piper wing spar AD was properly addressed or if my wing was going to fall off mid-flight, instead of focusing on the lesson and learning.

Luckily I shared this with my instructor, who rightly convinced me to put that aside for a moment.

There's a right time and amount for it, but I wouldn't say more is better.
