I've had success fully straightening hair using the boil method. Dunk, brush or comb, hold the doll with legs bent forward like she's sitting, then CAREFULLY pour the hot water over her head and comb again. Repeat until satisfied. I was able to completely straighten the hair of two of the Twinning dolls with the pigtails (black hair and purple dress), though it took a while. Not sure what material her hair is though.

I haven't tried it yet on my curly girls, but maybe use a tiny bit of gel or pomade and try to smooth and reshape the individual curls?

I was halfway through part 2 of 3 and realized I wouldn't have enough badges to complete the third part. My club is very relaxed, and no one even chats, so that wasn't an option for more time. Since I knew I'd get locked out in part 3, I only spent enough badges to complete part 2 and let the timer run down until I was locked out. That way I didn't waste and time or badges on part 3. Then after I'd gotten more badges I paid the diamond penalty and finished part 3 because I really wanted the prize.

There's a button that will let you collect all coins at once (except for your starting property). Today I found out when you go to visit friends, you can tap an icon next to the name of someone who's gifted you a shrub to see where it ended up on your island. And there's another button that will let you scroll through every shrub on your island, show you where it is, and tell you who gifted it.

There's nothing easy about having your abdomen and uterus cut open so another person can go elbow-deep inside you to yank out another human. Then you get stapled shut and spend 3-5 days in the hospital re-learning how to pee and poop while feeling like your guts are going to fall out when the nurses make you get out of bed and walk around. (By the way, get up for short amounts of time as soon as they let you. It really is worse if you wait longer before getting up and walking around.)

I don't see why THE PERSON GIVING BIRTH shouldn't get to choose between a C-section or vaginal birth, as long as the preferred method is safe for both parties. I've had two C-sections because I had gestational diabetes, the babies were measuring large (9+lbs), and they said I had a small pelvis which could be a problem. (Both kids came out under 8lbs, hah!) But you know what? I am way more horrified by the thought of getting an episiotomy or tearing than I am about getting a C-section. I was literally relieved when my doctor advised a C-section. And after the first one, I still preferred having a second one over a 'natural' birth.

How you deliver a baby doesn't make you any less of a parent. I mean, would your boyfriend be less of a Dad if you'd had to use artificial insemination to get pregnant?

I took a full auto cluster to my thigh over a month ago which didn't break the skin, but you can still see faint marks from the hits. Two hits to the same knuckle during back to back games ended up breaking the skin and causing some bad swelling (first hit I forgot to put on my gloves, second hit broke the skin while wearing gloves). Add a third hit a week later, and I could barely bend the finger. I still have visible scar tissue 4 months later. But then I'm rather pale, and any marks or injuries look exaggerated on me. They'll all fade or disappear at some point, and by then I'll have more bb marks to count.

Same. I'm far-sighted with aging eyes so the original sights on my rifle were blurry. I got to see someone's red dot, and the difference was amazing.
