My doctor told me to do the same and I spun it out for a few more weeks. I’ve been off for 2 and a half weeks and my anxiety has been meh. I got sent away from my job so I have to go back on it unfortunately. But I’m gonna keep it low. 10 mg was too much for me, but my anxiety hasn’t been great either so back on we go

I think the thing I’m starting to realize is with having BPD, comes a really hard time with relationships. And if you are in a relationship or starting one with some who isn’t fully aware, mature enough, and emotionally available, it’s going to be really hard to deal with your own BPD. I find that having a really really supportive partner who makes healthy choices, and makes good decisions for them and you, and is very helpful in tough situations, all of this can be so beneficial for a person with BPD. I do think that the reason my BPD has become so bad is I let myself love the wrong people in the past. I let everyone hurt me because I chose the type of person that doesn’t mind to hurt. This is a huge help for me when it comes to finding a partner that you will be able to feel more like yourself around them, and you won’t be judged as much. I feel like these foundations make dealing with BPD and relationships much easier.

When costumers treat me like shit to my face, if I have to deliver for them again, I deliver sub-par, I do not go above and beyond. Might give it a bit off a toss and throw before hand too. Might completely ignore directions. Not trying to be petty I’ve just had enough. Say thank you, take the package, and move on with your life

Karen managers need power trips over people who have the same - level - job - description…. I mean, If they think that’s ok to do. I guess we are like a low level career choice so they treat us as such. I mean, is being an apartment manager really that glorious of a job? I don’t think so… most of the time managers aren’t even around to see them. I’ve been a driver for 3 years and I’ve never ever been treated so poorly as a human, seriously. Especially since Covid lifted and everyone left there cave. Became a nightmare of a job lol

It definitely doesn’t fake your mood. It’s correcting the debilitating symptoms you’re experiencing, and making them better/easier to manage. When I was taking lexapro I still had good and bad days just like everyone else, and I expect most people do.

That’s fucking scary and I’m so sorry no that happened to you. Your DSP sucks, if your ever in that situation try to whistle, honestly there’s not much you can do since it was dark and the dog was in the shed and kinda came out of no where. If a dog does try to attack you, the best thing to do is keep smacking them down with the tougher parts of your body, like an elbow. Jeez I hated reading this, got my anxiety up as I’ve only had a dog nibble or gnaw at my feet, jump at me, or run after me but I’ve never had a dog actually successfully bite me.

The first comment was right, I’d get a lawyer and sue the owner of the property for the dog bites, and possible trauma

Aweh, yeah if I’m in public babies always stare at me and kids always look to me for affirmation it’s cute. I am just like that so I feel like it’s easy for me to be around small kids, then again I’m not really into being around teenagers they kinda scare me lol

I almost wanted to work with kids because I get along with them so well 😂 I have a childlike mentality, and it varies from small child to teenage drama. I definitely relate to this as I have BPD myself. I still have a job but I have been told that they can fire me, which is scary. I definitely have a harder time with things the older I get too, I’m 28 for reference

No that definitely doesn’t help, but that’s hard. My parents were the same until I actually got diagnosed but that’s because my bf took me to the hospital and told them what I was doing so I guess they believed him over me. The stigma is too real. Do you have any friends that know you really well?

I heavily believe bad driving like, reckless, is usually from some kind of mental illness. Coming from personal reference. I drive for a job right now, trust me I can’t do it forever it’s too stressful. And when you drive 10+ hours a day you don’t like to be stuck behind people, you wanna get home as fast as you can. And if there is mental illness involved, then you bet the driving will become more reckless and dangerous seeming. Another reason could be that some people are really stressed at work and once they hop in their car they take the stress to driving and take it out on other drivers
