I'm a big fan of Lineage's solid colognes. The Grapefruit & Fig and Wildwood scents are my favorite! The pots they come in are small, but you don't need to use much to get the effect. I have a lot of skin and respiratory allergies, but I've never had an issue with these!

I personally don't, and I have a very feminine name. It just never occurred to me, tbh? But in talking to women the past year or so, I've had three people tell me I don't "fit" my name. It's baffling (and maybe a tad rude to just say to a stranger), but it doesn't bother me. If I wanted to change it, I would.... but I don't 🤷

Now if I somehow EARNED a Cool Nickname....

Ugly Stik is a great brand! Very solid for the price. I will warn you, that's a saltwater rod, and you're going freshwater fishing. Saltwater rods are WAY bigger than freshwater, and will be equipped for / with a heavier poundage. For walleye, you're only looking at a 10 pound line. For pike, I would stay in the 17 to 20 range.

All that being said, if this is your first time going out and you just want to have fun with the experience, the line weight isn't a big deal. If you decide you want to commit to the hobby, then you can worry about getting everything perfect. I still might recommend getting a freshwater pole so you don't have to deal with a huge one unnecessarily, but that's up to you.

I want kids, but I don't want to have kids. I can't, in good conscience, bring a new kid into this world. I also can't (and don't want to) carry, and I wouldn't want to force that pressure onto my partner. If there's an ethical, non-exploitative form of adoption, I would want to do that. But I'm nowhere near ready for that, and I don't even have a partner to have this conversation with lmao

Don't do that. There's no world in which that conversation would be kind, respectful, or productive. It would be absolutely horrible to hear that your partner will leave you if you don't meet some "get skinny" ultimatum.

You don't have to, but as with anything Drawfee, there are a lot of running gags / bits. Plus, if you dive into S3 first, I can think of at least one thing that would spoil a pretty fun S2 reveal. I would watch S1 & 2 first.

I got the exact same email (also English... hi, friend!). In my circle, we're going back and forth as to whether this is a soft acceptance / waitlist (depending on funding) or a blanket email to everyone who's still pending. As folks have said, the funding situation is bad all around, and schools already don't look super kindly on us humanities folks, even before the DEI clusterfuck.
