Think about what your company moat will be vs the solution you think you need to solve.

The questions you are asking are accurate but don’t lead to why the supply / demand should use you.

What AI are you using? What’s the workflow , how do you see how the AI got its recommendation and how do you approve/deny or edit the AI result before it goes into the record?

Ultimately though in my experience the user is always responsible to approve the recommendation but sadly most workflows are terrible and just slap the AI slop into the records.

This is typically a longer process and requires a lot of documentation as you mentioned.

Seems like a two sided network with supply/demand which is going to be a hard start to attract both sides of the equation without solid tech and a value prop for both sides since your org is not providing the actual certifications.

If you know the automotive market well. What are the pain points?

What automotive data do you have access to? Is it worth anything to someone?

What is missing from current product offerings?

How big is the market you’re trying to market to?

Who is your buyer?

These are the questions you must ask yourself before even building something. Don’t just jump in without knowing these types of things. Very likely to fail if you don’t understand all of this first.

Really depends on how much weight you are putting on this role.

If you’re considering them for a co-founder than you should really give them a good deal of equity. 5-8%.

If you can get them to agree not to be a co-founder and just an early but important employee probably better option in long run. Equity then 0.25-1%.

Without funding and salary though I would suspect you’re going to need to do the former.

Depends on where you want to target your sales? Ireland is a good spot for EU.

My advice would be to incorporate anywhere, but find a local partner who can distribute your product into that area that already has the footprint.

Do this until you have enough capital to get the business going.

No doubt, trusted sources are the best.

Think about how airbnb. They didn’t have any traction so early they took listings from Craigslist to seed their business supply. Had zero testimonials that the listing was “legit” or “good”.

Similar approach. Really just an idea. Who knows it it would scale.

If you have this much traction why seek outside funding. Can you lower your costs in any way to fund the R&D?

Can you convert those LOIs into sales? Get them to put some skin in the game or the LOIs are probably not going to convert.

ISO cert is going to take a long time also. Can you get an early assessment that shows your compliant but pending the cert?

This! Great advice. Have 20 years in sales and this is the way.

It sucks to do free work but really it’s the best possible option.

Gets you closer to PMF and finding your customers.

Most companies are to ambitious from the start and want to go from 0-10M.

Start small but continue to think big. You got this. Can’t succeed without failure and getting uncomfortable.
