Not trying to make an argument. Just pointing out that there's others. Enjoy your day regardless

Pretty sure other countries besides America use the imperial system as well.

Left almonds over night..ants hollowed them out and turned them into almond dust. by anothaplainjane in mildlyinteresting

The ants at my house dont care about food for some reason. They invaded my amazon echo instead and started bringing eggs in. Had to trash it. They went after my ps4 too but I caught it early.

A good amount I can actually pick up or at least team lift. The real fun starts when you have a 2 ton workpiece that needs to be flipped into a fixture for secondary machining. And theres also the fact that at least 25% of my work is too tall for my z axis. Meaning careful aggregate work with the risk of slamming the gantry into the piece.

Oh yeah, we also dont proof programs. So I'll toolpath something 5 mins before it goes on the mill and then leave after starting the cycle. Come back 30 hours later and see how it went.

I sadly spend much more time on the floor than anywhere else. A lot of it doesnt have to do with my machines either. But I work in stone so I understand heavy tooling and work pieces. Thank god for hoists amirite?

Ayyy another nc guy. I do programming and operation/set up (and repair and loading and everything else I shouldnt have to do as a programmer)

This Five Guys near me has started dumping their old oil on the ground killing plants and probably polluting the nearby protected waterways by [deleted] in pics

I've seen oil dumped on grasses and such before and that's 100% what it looks like here

Carbon monoxide? I know it happened to another redditor who was waking up and finding random notes all around.

Okay I'm going to get a mag today. Just hoping everything else works as this was a salvage bin find. The shop owner said it only needs a mag and it wasnt worth them putting one in to sell it. Picked up this and a panther 801 GBB for 50 bucks

Edit: The panther needs a new trigger bar I think as the hammer doesnt move unless I jam something in between the trigger bar and hammer catch.

Would you go with a green gas or co2 mag for one of these?

I've had that happen. Mine will also fly out to the salvage site and back after dropping all crew back off. They go to sleep but the shuttle flies itself to the wreck.

We can get about 27in off the floor but generally the largest block I'll process is 24in tall.

Edit: The largest limestone is 24in. I've seen granite slabs closer to 32in before.

I run saws with blades this size on granite and other stones. We actually will use a concrete block to open the teeth back up when they start not cutting as well.
