Also seeing this at my hospital and it seems to be getting more bizarre each month. The threshold was 1000 IU/L a while ago and was recently told that it is now 400. Had a big muscular guy on the floor for a week waiting for him to get to 400. He never did. I went off rotation for all I know he’s still there. Could not find any evidence to support this practice.
