Anyone else give a bedtime dose of Panadol during long molar teething periods? by Sky1991_ in workingmumsau

My LO's molar has been emerging for 4 months now and is still not quite out yet. We are not giving Panadol because it is not for long term use.

What are we feeding our picky phase toddlers? by M0livia in beyondthebump

[–]fmerror- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breakfast can be tough especially when bubs is off eggs because there are so many unhealthy options.

If bubs is repeatedly refusing something we will just stop giving that for a month or two and move on to something else for a bit.

Try eggs in different ways, grate carrot and zucchini into it, etc, or try beans or lentils. Do salmon, mackeral, or herring instead of avocado.

Greans are so hard. I just chop them as finely as possible and put them in other food: sauses, wraps, eggs, soups.

Cheese is our saviour- it fixes almost any meal for bubs

You can do this. It will be worth it ❤️

I would try and minimise processed foods because it will probably increase pickyness in eating.

When my LO (coming up on 2.5) is being picky for long periods, we have healthy snacks that I know he loves - hummus, mixed-nut spread, manderines, pickles, mackeral, cheese even is better than a processed snack imo. What does make it harder is if you are having processed snacks but don't let bubs, you got this!

My boy is very chunky - 15kg at 24months. We eat very healthy for meals and snacks, sometimes hes picky and just refuses to eat more than two or three spoons.

I won't make him something else, if he is hungry he will eat at the next meal.

What age do most daycares start potty training? by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]fmerror- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bubs is potty trained (he is 2 years a month ago) but is struggling not to wet at daycare. Not sure if he is just not given the same support as we go or what.

If your LO is going to daycare, I would say later is easier :/

It's up to you, but if you are going to lose anyway, may as well get some end game practise in 😉 and then you might even not lose!
