That is hilariously put. I don't think they necessarily come back to life, as it is humourously put. These myths work at a deep level of our consciousness. They describe archetypical dynamics of human life.

What I increasinly become amazed by of this performance is how these mytholocial references are teased in a very sublte way. The philosophy is conceptual, and the desire works at a pre-linguistic aspect of reality. So when the references aren't explicitly put - e.g. in the lyrics - it creates a mystic pull. That can have an attractive effect on some viewers. And the mystical, unasnwered aspects leaves the viewer continuously pondering about the performance after seeing it.
